You’d think dealing with ex-husband Alec Baldwin would give Kim Basinger a few wrinkles and bags under her eyes, but at 53, this glam star has nary a wrinkle, line, or crevice in sight. Although she’s never admitted to a little plumping, plastic surgeon Alex Karidis told The Daily Mail that her “suspiciously immaculate complexion may be a result of plastic surgery. I am absolutely convinced that Kim has had some filler put into her lips and work done around the mouth. Surgery-wise, she looks like she has had an upper eyelid job with a small slither of skin removed from her lids to take away the heaviness around the eye area.”
A purist with naturally good genes? It could happen…just look at Susan Sarandon. This 62-year-old Academy Award-winning actress may be one of the few stars that decided to age gracefully. Sarandon has refused to get surgery, Botox, and other fillers according to Medicinenet.com. "I really need my face to move, so I've never been tempted to get Botox," she insists. "I am not saying that at some point I wouldn't mind my neck looking better, but I'm just so afraid of being unrecognizable, or to lose the shape of my eyes."
Uptown girl, to CoverGirl, to all-American girl, everyone loves Christie Brinkley. And although she dropped some baggage over the past few years (yes, we’re talking about her cheating husband), she says she’s never had any plastic surgery.
“Well, I haven’t yet. I would consider it," Christie admitted to “Extra” in November 2007. “I am that age where I…see how areas can be improved.”
Instead, she relies on a simple smile to stay young-looking. “Science has proven me correct. When you put your lips in a smiling position it releases chemicals in your body that actually make you feel better,” Brinkley said.
Mrs. David Bowie, Iman, is 53 going on 33! Her flawless complexion and amazing body almost defy all odds. Despite having a boob job in 1998, Iman believes in aging naturally. “Where I come from [Somalia], aging is something that's earned. I can't see injecting a substance that's labeled a 'toxin' into my body,” Iman explained to RealSelf.com.
Aside from being blessed with brilliant genes, this supermodel credits her meticulous skincare routine, her own line of cosmetics, and gaining what she calls is “essential fat” to her fantastic looks. “If you're too skinny, you look old,” she says.
Of course, being married to a rock god doesn’t hurt either.
Okay, so she’s not quite 50 yet, but what’s a month or two? This 49-year-old vixen turns the big 5-0 on March 10th, and she’s never looked better. But how real is it? Despite claiming she’s a “natural beauty,” according to Court TV, Stone filed a defamation suit against Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Renato Calabria, who claimed his “unique face-lift technique was the secret behind Stone's gravity-defying face.”
At 74, yes 74(!) Dame Judi Dench somehow looks more refreshed than Lindsay Lohan these days. The past couple of years, Dench ruled the box office with her amazing acting skills and surprisingly fresh face. While she does have some very fine lines and wrinkles as can be expected, plastic surgeons speculate that Dench is simply blessed with a great genetic makeup. Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn told MakeMeHeal.com, “Judi Dench appears to be aging gracefully, like everyone’s favorite grandmother.” However, she’s not all natural; Youn said, “While her neckline and facial wrinkles match her age, her lower eyelids do not. The lack of loose skin or bags under her eyes may be a sign of a lower blepharoplasty.”
This year’s Oscar Best Actress front-runner may be 67, but the still gorgeous and glowing Julie Christie looks so young, she could almost pass for ex-boyfriend Warren Beatty’s daughter (sorry, Warren). Of course, Christie’s had a little help in maintaining her good looks. The actress has been quite vocal about work she had done on her jawline back in the mid-1990s, and IMDB.com reports that she’s open to the idea of getting more.
Her ridiculously attractive good looks make Sela Ward look much younger than her 51 years. Normally we’d be waving the Botox flag, but given that Ward has produced a documentary called “The Changing Face of Beauty,” which analyzes age discrimination in action, we somehow doubt she has a plastic surgeon on speed-dial.
