High School Musical 2 star Ashley Tisdale has finally taken off the bandages and revealed her new nose for the world to see.

As Body-Philosophy reported earlier, Tisdale underwent rhinoplasty on November 30th in order to correct a - what else? - deviated septum.

Though the perky new nose is definitely different - it's significantly slimmer than the original, especially at the bottom - it's no Ashlee Simpson transformation. Unfortunately, fixing that deviated septum hasn't helped The Tis breathe any easier, as she suffered a panic attack during an appearance at the Z100 Jingle Ball, SFGate.com reports.

"I was so out of breath, I started hyperventilating," Tisdale told People. "They were thinking it was a heart attack. The (tour) doctor got me an oxygen tank and I sat outside the stage and breathed in oxygen until I could catch my breath."

Tisdale has also had to cancel appearances to give herself more time to recover from her rhinoplasty.

"When my surgery was scheduled, we didn't think it would be necessary to cancel the shows because my doctor thought I would heal in time," she says. "Unfortunately, the deviated septum was more significant than we originally thought so the healing process is taking longer."

Hmm...do you appreciate Ashley's candor, or do you think she's just milking her 15 minutes of fame?
