Sure your mom says you're gorgeous, and you were voted homecoming queen in Moosedropping, Ohio, but does that mean you should move to LA to become an actress? A new website called HotFlation.com will do the market research for you.

Founded by two guys , HotFlation.com allows users (preferably females, who spend most of their waking hours scantily clad) to upload photos of their bodacious selves in order to be rated by all other visitors to the site. But the extra twist that sets hotflation apart from other rating sites like HotOrNot.com is the ability to see exactly where in the country you're considered hottest.

The concept of "hotflation" is that girls considered smokin' hot in North Dakota or Kansas might simply be average on the streets of Beverly Hills. HotFlation attempts to quantify that measurement. Each time a photo is rated, the IP address of the computer used is matched with one of 12 corresponding regions in the country. Once you've uploaded your photo, you'll get a personal "heat map" showing your average scores for each reach and ergo, where your best chances are for landing that hot morning weather girl job.

Based on a quick browse of the site and candidates, the central and mountain states seem to be the most generous in hotness ratings. Girls who get a respectable 6 or 7 rating there barely register a 1 in highly critical California or the east coast. Having said that, the top ten girls in every region tend to be primarily blonde, nubile, thin and scantily clad.

So here's an additional bit of data I wish the founders would overlay on the regional maps. I would like to also map insecurity, use of anti-depressants and breast augmentation procedures - my hypothesis being an inverse relationship between regional hotness rating generosity and all of the above.
