You are right. To criticize the cult of female beauty above women's other achievements always brings the same response. You must be jealous, ugly, titless, a dyke, a man-hater, etc, etc. That these women allow themselves to undergo risky and painful procedures in the quest of obtaining a body that conforms to a narrow stereotype just confirms how firmly entrenched the obsession with female sexual attractiveness is. And no I am not ugly. I have D-cup boobs which are natural. I love men. As an aside, when Germaine Greer had her famous debate with journalist Norman Mailer at the New York Town Hall way back when, he commented to her beforhand, "You're a lot better looking than I thought you'd be". Enough said...
