Upgrading your breasts isn't just about looking better naked anymore (though your man might disagree). In fact, new "couture" implants are designed to help the patient look better...fully dressed?
Meet the Rodeo Drive Couture Breast Augmentation. Developed by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Lloyd Krieger, the founder and medical director of Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery, the procedure promises a customized augmentation that "both matches a woman's body and creates the best form for wearing fashionable clothing," its press release claims.
The goal of the surgery is not to just enlarge the breast size; it's to create a flattering silhouette that looks beautiful whether the woman is wearing a little black dress or nothing at all.
"We find that people coming for breast augmentation are seeking to improve not only their appearance but their overall lifestyle," Dr. Krieger says. "They want to look better and feel better. They want to wear elegant clothes which might have intimidated them in the past because they lacked cleavage."
In a move that might make Karl Lagerfeld flash a rarely seen smile, Dr. Krieger consulted the Rodeo Drive boutique managers and fashionistas around him to examine the role that the body's type and proportions played in fashion. He now selects the size and type of implant according to the woman's goals, body type, and what will look best from a fashion perspective. Each procedure is customized to every detail.
"In each breast implant procedure, we not only address breast size, but also their shape and position," he says. "This way, the new breasts match the body to create a harmonious and flattering overall shape. Our goal is for Beverly Hills breast augmentation to create the size and shape that will allow women to look good, feel comfortable, and create the widest options for wearing all types of fashionable clothing."

Shouldn't this be the status quo?
By GBW (not verified) - Saturday, January 12, 2008 - 09:36It seems like everyone should do the same. Do they just slap whatever the woman picks? I'm not a plastic surgeon and if I were a patient, I'd hope my surgeon would take these factors into consideration
