Evolution: Will humans begin to regress around the year 3000?Will Humans Split into Two Species?

You sometimes think that your relatives come from a different species... but 100,000 years from now, you may be right.
According to British evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry of the London School of Economics, the human race will one day be composed of two separate, very distinct species - one a highly attractive, physically dominant "ruling elite," and the other "an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures," The Daily Mail reports.
Curry believes that humans will reach their physical peak by the year 3000, enjoying a height between 6 and 7 feet and a lifespan of 120 years. The popularity and advancement of cosmetic surgery will also naturally develop more symmetrical features and fitter bodies. Men will also enjoy heightened masculine traits like deeper voices and - you guessed it - larger penises. Females, meanwhile, will have "glossy hair, smooth hairless skin, large eyes, and pert breasts," he says. (Where's a time machine when you need one?) And rather than diverse races, interbreeding will create a uniform mocha-colored skin color.
"Physical features will be driven by indicators of health, youth and fertility that men and women have evolved to look for in potential mates," Curry's report states.
But our dependence on technology could backfire, causing humans to have weaker immune systems and stunted mental and physical development.
"While science and technology have the potential to create an ideal habitat for humanity over the next millennium," Curry says, "there is the possibility of a monumental genetic hangover over the subsequent millennia due to an over-reliance on technology reducing our natural capacity to resist disease, or our evolved ability to get along with each other. After that, things could get ugly, with the possible emergence of genetic 'haves' and 'have-nots'."
