Brendan Fraser: Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

Still harboring a crush on "The Mummy" heartthrob Brendan Fraser? Well, it's about to end in 3, 2, 1...

The Daily Mail
has exposed the "Encino Man" actor as a baldie who relies on either hair transplants or toupees for his films. On screen, Fraser's got a thick head of dark brown hair parted down the middle. But off the set, his exposed scalp and stringy, wispy hair screams "50-something algebra teacher," not "leading man."

"It was clear in 2003 that the one time pin-up was thinning rapidly," The Daily Mail reports, "but as he wrapped filming the third installment of the Mummy franchise in Shanghai yesterday, his long mane had made a rather miraculous comeback. ...The 38-year-old actor appears to have gone to rather extraordinary lengths to regain his once full head of tousled brown hair."

Close inspection seems to suggest that Fraser has had a hair transplant, as his hairstyle is eerily familiar to that of another famous baldie: John Travolta. Whatever he's had done, one thing's for sure: we'll never be able to watch "School Ties" the same way again.

What do you think? Should Brendan Fraser keep his plugs and spare us his balding head, or embrace it by doing a Bruce Willis head shave?
